This one act is but the tip of the iceberg for what the left would subject Americans to if we ultimately give them the power they so desperately want. They will tell all of us exactly what we can drive, how much we can make (remember Obama's "at a certain point you've made enough money comment"), what foods we can and can't eat, what we can or can't turn our thermostats in our own homes (well, eventually they would abolish individual home ownership) up to, what doctor we can or can't see, what medical procedures we do or don't qualify for (see Obamacare and Ezekiel Emanuel's "Complete Lives System" of healthcare management here), what we can say (hate crimes legislation), what we can believe (gay marriage), what our children are taught (US Department of Education), and what we can do to our own property (the EPA) just to name a few.
The left has constructed a mammoth power structure that is already controlling a great deal of American's every day lives. Like the wild pig analogy, the fence is almost built, most Americans don't even realize it because they still have a sense of freedom, they can still move in and out of the encroaching fence that is being built just below their casual vision.
But, one day, when that last line of fence is built, be it gun ownership, healthcare, property rights, etc, we will all wake up and it will be too late. there will be no escape and America as we know it will be no more. The radical communist/marxist/tyrannical left will be in complete control and they will start rounding up non compliant Americans for "re-education" or worse. They are already compiling the list - are you on it?
At that point the American experiment will be over, all of it, lock stock and barrel. You will have no choice, no free will, no right to complain or change any of the outrageous policies they have in store for all of us. You will be in a living hell of their creation.
That is but one reason those who disagree with these lunatics must fight every single day to promote and expand the cause of freedom. We must wake the millions of Americans up that simply are not paying attention, and educate those that have been indoctrinated into the false ideology of liberalism.
